Privacy policy

The short version

Almost everything you do here happens inside your own browser. We do not ask you to register, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.

Your documents

The PDF tools run in the browser tab you have open. Your file is read by the page, processed on your own device and saved back to your device when you press download. Because of that, we never hold a copy and cannot retrieve a file for you later.

A small number of tools need help from an artificial-intelligence service to do their job — summarising a document, translating it, or comparing two versions. For those tools, and only when you start them, the text they need is sent to that service, used to produce your result and not kept for training.

Information we do collect

• Basic technical data that any website receives when a page loads, such as the type of browser and device, used to keep the site working and secure.
• Anonymous usage counts, so we know which tools are worth improving. These are not linked to you.
• Anything you choose to send us — for example your name, email address and message when you write in through the contact page. We use it to reply, and nothing else.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. See the cookie policy for exactly what is stored and how to clear it.

Children

The site is intended for general use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since we hold very little, these requests are usually quick. Write to us at hello@pdfcampus.com and we will handle it within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how anything works, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
